The origin

BEDROOM TO BUSINESS.

BRIAN THE LOWLIFE
I STARTED AT 13.
I NEVER STOPPED.

BRIAN THE LOWLIFE started making music at 13 years old, learning the craft long before there was a business attached to it. Recording began in a bedroom — building beats, tracking artists, learning how vocals should sit, and obsessing over the difference between a demo and a finished record.

Word spread. Sessions stacked up. The bedroom became too booked to stay a bedroom operation, and the work turned into a real recording business. Since then, LOWLIFE has grown through the thing that matters most in music: artists coming back, sending other artists, and records leaving the room sounding ready.

Today, one booking can cover the full process: production, recording, vocal direction, mixing and mastering. You aren't being passed between five people. You're working with the same ears from the idea to the final bounce.

You know the sound before you see the credit

THE TAGS.

Part of the LOWLIFE identity lives inside the records themselves. Two signature tags have followed BRIAN’s work across sessions and releases — a stamp listeners and artists recognize before they ever read the credits.

Mix tag
“LO-LO-LOWLIFE
ON THE MIX.”

The signature mix callout. If BRIAN handled the mix, this is the tag people have learned to recognize — a small piece of branding that became part of the sound.

Mixed by BRIAN THE LOWLIFE
Producer tag
“BRIAN, YOU PLAY
TOO MUCH.”

The production stamp. It shows up on records BRIAN produced and signals that the beat came through LOWLIFE before the first verse even lands.

The catalog has crossed into fight culture too. “Platinum” became a UFC walkout record for “Platinum” Mike Perry, while the Sugar Show records were created around Sean “Sugar” O’Malley. It’s a strong part of the story — but LOWLIFE is bigger than one fighter, one artist or one moment.

Beyond the control room

IN THE ROOM.

LOWLIFE has never existed in a studio bubble. BRIAN has also worked inside major music-video production environments — including appearing as a featured dancer in DaBaby’s “Ball If I Want To” visual. That experience is part of a broader understanding of how a record becomes a complete artist moment: sound, image, performance and culture.

Featured dancer / on-camera talent during the music-video production. A firsthand look at a major artist visual set and the performance side of releasing music at scale.

On set experienceTHE RECORD IS BIGGER THAN THE AUDIO.

Being around the visual and performance process informs the way LOWLIFE approaches artists: the song has to support the identity, the rollout and the moment around it.

Important: this is intentionally credited as music-video/on-set work, not as a DaBaby production or engineering credit. It still belongs on the site — it just tells the true story in a way that strengthens the brand.
